Artists' Television
Access (ATA) is hosting an exclusive film screening
to celebrate new work from the Digital Motion Picture Department
of Cogswell College and the Film Department of City College of San
Francisco.
The Directing Classes show at ATA will take place on 18 May, 2007
and will feature a film from young Kurdish film student and active
Kurdish American Youth member, Apo Welatparez, entitled From
the Diary of a Kurd. This film was among those selected for exclusive
screening at the ATA event.
Welaparez's film is about a Kurdish immigrant who had thought
he had reached his destiny in America only to find that things
are not as ideal as they seem.
ATA is a media arts gallery that hosts a series of film and video
screenings, exhibitions and performances by emerging and established
artists.
The Directing Classes show at ATA will feature works
