Dear KAYO Members and Supporters:

The Kurdish American Youth Organization (KAYO) has reached the end of it's second official year following the ratification of our constitution. Therefore, we are required to hold our 2-year elections for the Board of Directors. This election will give members of KAYO the opportunity to run for positions in the Board in order to lead this great and successful organization. We are very pleased to have received nominations that make up a list of such capable and talented young men and women that have the potential to be tomorrow's leaders both for KAYO and in their future endeavors

How to vote? Voting is easy. Use Microsoft Word to fill out the KAYO 2008 Ballot with your votes and email the ballot to, kurdyouthelect@gmail.com , no later than January 10th 2008. If you are planning on attending the KAYO 2008 Conference in Dallas, Texas, you may also cast your ballot in person on the day of the conference. You must be a registered KAYO Member to Vote!

How do obtain a ballot and candidate list? You need to be signed up to our official KAYO mailing list and be an official KAYO member in order to participate in the voting process. To find out more on how to become a KAYO member, visit our Membership page.

When will we know the winners? Winners will be announced at the KAYO 2008 Conference in Dallas, Texas. We will also send an official email to notify everyone of the results.

Important Dates to Remember: Official voting (via absentee ballots) began on November 16th of 2007 and will conclude on January 10th of 2008. The final day for voting will be the day of our Second Annual Conference taking place in Dallas, Texas. (Please note that you are not required to attend in order to cast your vote as long as you submit your votes by following the processes before January 10th.)
